The Drama Group have been presenting plays and pantomimes for more years than we care to remember! Our main home is Buckland Monachorum Village Hall but we have also given performances in various places, including a one-off radio play at the RAF Harrowbeer 1940s Weekend.

We aim to present two major productions a year and until recently, this was usually a play in the Spring and a Pantomime in the Autumn. In 2014, we changed and presented a play (with a three course meal) in October and followed this with “Maid in China”, a play similar in style to a pantomime.

The Group has members of all ages, from 6 to 60+ and new members are always welcome. You don’t have to go on stage either as we always need ‘backroom helpers’ to create sets, make costumes and many other jobs to numerous to mention.
